This shirt is from one of my favorite places in Worcester (I know, I know, how can you have favorites of the countless amazing places in Worcester??). My father, who got me the shirt, took me here a few years ago and my taste buds fell in love (totally different story with my Crohn’s, but these are the sacrifices we make). My Dad showed me how you order “two up” when going to Coney Island (http://www.coneyislandlunch.com/). This order gives you two delicious hot dogs topped with baked beans, chili, mustard, and onions. Mmmmm, mmmmm, good. If you would like to know more about the history of CIHD (which started in 1918), you can go here: http://www.coneyislandlunch.com/history.php5.
I wore it today because I knew I was going to be outside and needed to soak up the least amount of Sun possible. I’m glad to report it wasn’t bad at all in the shade, and I made it through the day burn free. I had a fun time at Elm Park and then later grabbed a very tasty Kahlua-Coffee-Brownie Sundae at Meola’s (no shirts there though). Fun day in Worcester! Oh yeah, the one funny (nasty) thing about this shirt was that although my Dad got it months before he gave it to me, it still smelled like hot dogs when I got it! :)
I can't see the picture clearly, but may be let me save this snap and then try to see this picture with some zoom.
