T-shirt #309: Spinal Tap, This shirt goes to 11...

I got this one at 6 Dollar Shirts (http://www.6dollarshirts.com/t-shirts, http://6dollarshirts.com/t-shirts/Volume-11-p-11201.html) and it’s a reference one of my favorite movies of all time: This Is Spinal Tap.

Here are some Spinal Tap fun facts:

- I think I watched Spinal Tap about 394 times the summer I was sick with cancer.

- Christopher Guest, who plays Nigel Tufnel in the movie, went on to direct four more Mockumentaries (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration)

- My friend Mike’s Band Nigels 11 (http://www.nigels11.com) is a reference to the same scene this shirt references

- Spinal Tap appeared on the Simpsons in April of 1992 (weeks after I was diagnosed with a brain tumor)

- All of the songs were written and performed by the actors

- Billy Crystal, Bruno Kirby, Fran Drescher, Dana Carvey, Paul Shaffer, Anjelica Huston, and Fred Willard all appear in the film
